A section that I found more interesting was the hierarchical observation part from The Means of Correct Training. The way the author talks about how disciplinary institutions created a mechanism of control is so important, because that can be seen in our society today. The effects of power is present in schools, government and in the "military camps" as he suggested. This part also explains how control does not make people have discipline, only the "physics of power" does. Some people use aggregation to force other people to do certain things, I think for this reason I can relate to that. One of my friends from Brazil was in a toxic relationship, where her ex boyfriend would force her to do things she did feel comfortable doing. Even though he did nor physically force her, he verbalized things to her. The same way I think happens to our society today, schools, the government and especially the media make us learn and see what they think is the best for us, and most of the times we do not have options. This makes us robots of the society today.
